Forest Friends

We had such an amazing time with friends and family up in Wrightwood. It was so nice to feel like we were in a little vacation. We went on a hike the first day we were there then had lunch at 'Grizzly Cafe' which was super good. After that we walked around town, grabbed some snacks and a movie then went home and had pizza! On Sunday we headed to Palmdale to visit Bitsy's church. After church was over, they let us be involved in their chili cook off, which was very fun! It was definitely a refreshing time. God was very much glorified through His beautiful people and creation. :)

Mug Brushes

It has definitely been awhile....O.O

Anyways! Mark was so very nice and decided for my birthday he would get me Sigma makeup brushes. I was completely shocked when I received his generous gift.

These brushes are SO soft and nice! The whole set came with these brushes: Large Powder F30, Concearler F70, Foundation F60, Large Angled Contour F40, Duo Fibr F50, Eye Shading E55, Tapered Blending E40,Large Shader E60, Small Angle E65, Meduim Angled Shading, Eyeliner E85,  and Pencil E30.

A few of these really stood out to me, like the foundation brush. It works so well, no streaking and it applies the foundation smoothly! And in case I forgot to mention, it's SO soft!

The eye shading and meduim angled shading brushes are incredible! The bristles really hold the product well! Most eye shadow brushes I've used I have to keep going to back to the product over and over because none of the shadow sticks to the brush! But these shading brushes does exactly what I want! :)

Since I've been using these brushes, I've not been disappointed!

I'm so thankful for a wonderful husband who knows what I enjoy and blesses me with such nice gifts. :)

No Longer a Single Digit

Happy Birthday to my sweet cousin Paige! What a blessing it is to have you here in California again! I've so enjoyed being able to get to know that little red head better. :) She is truly a servant and a very loving girl...not to mention she makes me laugh...often. :)

Thank you to Bekka, Sammi, Aunt Minda and Uncle Jesse for a great party! Wonderful food, decorations and fun. :)

Beautiful Blessings

This week started out with me visiting my cousin Emi...I love her to death and seriously grab any moment I can with her. On Monday, Sammi, Zack, Aunt Deeds and I took Emi to the pool! She would NOT stop saying "Pool!" the whole time we were there. Emi had a smile pasted on her face pretty much the whole time we were there. Then on Tuesday Mom and I went to hang out with Bekka and her for a little and of course that was filled with her trying to beg for our food. ;)

Every time I look at the picture of Sammi, Emi and I (above), I get teary eyed seeing such a joyful smile on that little girls face. God has shown me through her how to let go and love the life God has given me, and no matter what my circumstance to praise Jesus with all that I am.

Emi is a bundle of joy and laughter and I pray that God might draw her to Himself everyday.
